Harry Styles broke his silence on his Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) debut in Eternals.

In an interview with Dazed, Styles revealed what it was like to star in Eternals, even if just for a brief moment during the post-credits scene at the end of the film. "I'm only in right at the very end," he adds. "But who didn't grow up wanting to be a superhero, you know? It was a great experience and I'm so grateful to have gotten to work with Chloé [Zhao]."

Styles joined the MCU as Eros, also known as Starfox. In the comics, Eros is known as an adventurous member of the Eternals who has a slight reputation for being a womanizer. Some of the powers he possesses include flight and superhuman strength. The post-credits scene also takes inspiration from his original costume in the comics, with Styles wearing a red and gold outfit.

The post-credit scene saw Eros -- who is the brother of the Mad Titan Thanos -- aboard the Eternals ship. Alongside Pip the Troll, voiced by Patton Oswalt, Eros introduces himself to Thena, Druig and Makkari, who have set out to find other Eternals. They are unaware that, after preventing the emergence of Tiamut at the end of the film, Arishem has taken some of the Eternals to examine their judgment and memories. Eros appears and tells them, "Your friends are in big trouble, and we know where to find them."

The actor -- who has also appeared in Dunkirk -- was someone that director Zhao had her eye on for a while to play the role. "I pitched the idea of Pip the Troll and Eros to Kevin [Feige] awhile back and I love the idea of exploring an Eternal who is beyond Titan and who may have influenced Thanos throughout the years the same way Eternals influenced us, earthlings."

Eternals follows a group of immortal beings who have been in hiding on Earth for thousands of years. They suddenly have to reunite to battle their lifelong enemies, the Deviants, who reappear after a natural disaster. The film has a star-studded ensemble cast, including Richard Madden as Ikaris, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Angelina Jolie as Thena, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Barry Keoghan as Druig and Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo.
