Marvel's "All-New X-Men" #1 was one of eight titles from the publisher's Marvel NOW! initiative in the top ten single issues for November.

Diamond Comics Distributors has released sales numbers for the month of November 2012 that show Marvel Comics talking over the top ten comics with its Marvel NOW! #1 issues. Not only did the publisher lead in dollars and units, Marvel took eight out of the top ten bestselling single issues for November with Brian Michael Bendis and Stuart Immonen's "All-New X-Men" #1 nabbing the coveted top spot. Other Marvel debuts included "Captain America," "Deadpool," "Indestructible Hulk," "Iron Man," "Fantastic Four" and "Thor: God of Thunder." The second issue of Rick Remender and John Cassaday's "Uncanny Avengers" also made the list. Although Marvel dominated November's top ten, DC Comics' "Batman" and "Justice League" continued their presence on the list, taking second and ninth position, respectively.

November's top ten bestselling graphic novels and trade paperbacks was much more diverse, despite a strong showing from DC. Image Comics' "The Walking Dead Volume 17" trade paperback took the top spot with "The Walking Dead Volume 1" clocking in at eight. Both BOOM! Studios and Dynamite Entertainment made the month's top trades for "Adventure Time Volume 1" and "The Boys Volume 12," respectively. DC took five out of ten spots in the top graphic novels for the month with a huge focus on Vertigo as the original graphic novel "Fables: Werewolves of the Heartland" lead the charge with "Fairest Volume 1," "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Volume 1" and "Scalped Volume 10" not far behind. Marvel's single showing in the top ten was the "Avengers Vs. X-Men" hardcover.

Diamond's comparative sales statistics revealed sales for comics and graphic novels are down from October 13.66% in dollars and 5.42% in units. Although the year-to-date comparative statistics indicate growth of 14.64% in dollars and 11.50% in units from 2011, last month was nearly even with its 2011 counterpart in both units and sales.
