Marvel Studios has released a new teaser for the upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision.

The teaser features Wanda Maximoff and Vision living in their picturesque suburban life ripped straight out of a black-and-white sitcom before Wanda starts to see hints of the real world trying to pull her back. As the decades progress, so too do the signs that things aren't what they seem.

New details regarding WandaVision have slowly been released, though the plot still remains a mystery. A black-and-white image of Wanda teased how the show will incorporate tropes from the Golden Age of Television, such as a married couple sleeping in separate bedrooms — a staple in comedies such as I Love Lucy and The Dick Van Dyke Show. The series' pilot was also filmed in front of a live studio audience, an homage to multi-camera sitcoms.

Marvel Studios presents WandaVision, a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) – two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives – begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. The new series is directed by Matt Shakman; Jac Schaeffer is head writer.

Written by Jac Schaeffer and directed by Matt Shakman, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Agnes. The series premieres Jan. 15 on Disney+.
