Created by Ta-Nehisi Coates and Adam Kubert, the Daughters of Liberty first debuted in Captain America Vol.9 #7.  While the team itself is a new revelation in the Marvel Comics universe, its origins date back decades ago.  The Daughters of Liberty were first formed in the 18th century. Their first leader was Harriet Tubman aka the first one to use the codename The Dryad.

One of the team's most notable missions was to guard the Super-Soldier Serum and in turn Captain America himself. And as fate would have it, Steve Rogers needing help getting out of a bad situation is what brought back the Daughters of Liberty. The team has now resurfaced and is needed more than ever, and have gained some of the most powerful and influential women in the Marvel universe.

11 The Dryad

Peggy Carter The Dryad

Peggy Carter is one of the most well-known and beloved women of Marvel thanks to her long-lasting presence and impact in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In Marvel Comics, she was a soldier who fought with the French-Resistance and met Captain America during World War II. Before this, she was recruited into the Daughters of Liberty by Alexa Lukin. After living a long life, Peggy passed away due to old age. She recently returned back to life and young because she was needed to help Steve Rogers and her niece Sharon Carter fight Selene Gallio, Alexa Lukin, and Aleksander Lukin. Since then, she has been operating as a spy under the codename The Dryad while leading the modern-day Daughters of Liberty.

10 Agatha Harkness

Being one of The Witches of New Salem, Agatha Harkness is one of the oldest and most powerful magic users in the Marvel Universe. She is known for being Franklin Richard's babysitter when he was young. Agatha is also a mentor and teacher to Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch. Her history with the Daughters of Liberty began when she was brought in to teach magic to the recruits. She was also the to reveal to Steve Rogers that Peggy Carter was alive again, and showed him the history of the Daughters of Liberty.  Agatha also aided Captain America, Winter Soldier, Aja-Adanna, Falcon, and Agent 13 in their fight against Selene Gallio.

9 Spider-Woman

The original Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew, is also a member of the Daughters of Liberty. She has been a member of several teams, such as several incarnations of the Avengers,  Strikeforce, and the Lady Liberators. Jessica has also been an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.W.O.R.D. These days she mainly sticks to private investigative work.

Since joining the Daughters of Liberty, she has been on a couple of their missions. First, she was apart of the group that broke Steve Rogers out of prison. Then, she partnered with Misty Knight to take down some of the Watchdogs.

8 White Tiger

Ava Ayala is the third person to use the power of the White Tiger Amulet and become the White Tiger.  She started off as a student at the Avengers Academy. Ava later went on to join the Heroes for Hire, and then Luke Cage's Mighty Avengers. Some of the powers the White Tiger Amulet gives Ava are animal-like senses, camouflage, and faster self-healing. Her most important mission with the Daughters of Liberty included Toni Ho, Sharon Carter, and Steve Rogers. Together, they stopped the Watchdogs from attacking a group of migrants crossing the border and provided the migrants with aid that they needed.

7 Mockingbird

Bobbi Morse has been an Avenger, West Coast Avenger, and agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. When she is not working with the Daughters of Liberty, she is doing missions with the Agents of Wakanda. Mockingbird is a biochemist who is not only a skilled spy but possesses super strength due to injecting herself with a version of the Super-Soldier Serum. When she is not adventuring, she mentors the Agents of G.I.R.L alongside Janet van Dyne. With a wide variety of skills and years of experience, Mockingbird makes for a great addition to this team.

6 Toni Ho

Toni Ho is the daughter of genius Ho Yinsen, the man who saved Tony Stark's when he was being held captive. Toni used to be a member of the U.S Avengers, where she was the Iron Patriot. Her role on the Daughters of Liberty is a bit less action-oriented, but still incredibly important. Toni mainly operates remotely and behind the scenes on most of the team's missions. She was involved with Captain America's prison break, aided Sharon Carter when she was fighting Selene. She also finds out information about the Daughters of Libertys enemies in general.

5 Echo

Echo Maya Lopez Marvel Comics

Maya Lopez aka Echo is a heroine who is skilled in martial arts, has photographic reflexes, and is an expert marksman. In the past, she was a member of the Avengers under the alias Ronin. Maya has also worked with Daredevil, Captain Marvel, Spider-Woman, Hazmat, and Moon Knight.

After she joined the Daughters of Liberty, Echo fought the Watchdogs with Ava Ayala and Steve Rogers. That same day, she fought Sinthea Shmidt, daughter of the Red Skull.

4 Misty Knight

Best known for being a Heroe for Hire and one half of the Daughters of The Dragon, Misty Knight is one of the original members of the new version of the Daughters of Liberty. She has been the partner of previous Captain America Sam Wilson, so her being on a team that originally reformed to help the current holder of the mantle Steve Rogers makes lots of sense. Misty Knight has exceptional martial arts and detective skills, making her a great match for the Daughters of Liberty.

3 Invisible Woman

Being one of the first women of Marvel Comics, it only makes sense that the Invisible Woman would be a member of this powerful all-female team. Sue may be best known for being a founding member of the Fantastic Four, but she also has espionage experience from her time as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. One of her missions with the Daughters of Liberty involved finding Antony Diaz, the villain known as Scourge. She was also apart of Steve Roger's prison break.

2 Aja-Adanna

Aja-Adanna, better known as Shuri, is the newest member of the Daughters of Liberty.  She first became involved when Agatha Harkness brought her to help Sharon Carter, Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Sam Wilson, and herself fight Selene Gallio. Shuri has quite the history of super-heroics that make her a perfect fit for the Daughters of Liberty.  She once took over the mantle of the Black Panther. Shuri also has enhancements she gained from her time at the Djalia. She has teamed up with heroes Ororo Munroe, Kamala Khan, and Miles Morales. Shuri is also a genius who regularly invents the advanced technology.

1 Agent 13

Agent 13 Sharon Carter Marvel Comics

Sharon Carter aka Agent 13 may not have superpowers, but this does not make her any less heroic. Over the years, she has been the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., a member of the Secret Avengers, led the Femme Force, and one of Steve Roger's most trusted partners. Sharon is even known as "the most dangerous spy in the world". She was the one to recruit most of the modern-day Daughters Of Liberty team. Even though she isn't the official leader of the Daughters of Liberty, she led them on several of their missions. Sharon recently donned the Iron Patriot armor and defeated Selene Gallio, while also restoring her youth.
