Marvel's Contest of Champions Is Now an Arcade Game

Marvel's Contest of Champions -- the hit mobile game that allows players to fight as some of their favorite Marvel superheroes -- has now made the leap to arcades, thanks to developer Kabam partnering with Dave and Buster's Entertainment, Inc.

An arcade version of the hit mobile fighting game is now be available to be played at any one of Dave and Buster's' 122 restaurant/entertainment complexes in North America.

Attendees will be able start a new game, earn a Champion Card and begin taking on opponents. Currently, there over 70 "Champions" players can collect, with more to be added soon. Much like with its mobile counterpart, those who play the Contest of Champions arcade cabinet can build a roster of their favorite Marvel heroes and take on either their friends or AI opponents.

The arcade version of Marvel's Contest of Champions is co-developed by arcade game developer Raw Thrills, who previously brought the DC fighting game Injustice to arcade cabinets. Raw Thrills is also known for such titles as Jurassic Park Arcade, Halo: Fireteam Raven, Aliens: Armageddon and Space Invaders Frenzy.

Marvel's Contest of Champions is also available on the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android devices.
