The popular mobile fighting game Marvel Contest of Champions is about to get another key figure from the Fantastic Four. A new update will add the villain Annihilus to the game.

Kabam, the game's developer, released the stats and design of the character's appearance, revealing that the playable fighter will gain bonuses when teamed with Darkhawk and when opposing the Ragnarok version of the Hulk.

Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1968's Fantastic Four Annual #6, Annihilus is the despotic ruler of the Negative Zone. He lords over hordes of insectoid monsters within the dimension through the use of his Cosmic Control Rod.

Since his debut, Annihilus has been a longtime foe of the Fantastic Four and was responsible for the death of the Human Torch in 2011's Fantastic Four #587 by Jonathan Hickman and Steve Epting. Annihilus has also proven himself to be an enemy to the entire Marvel Universe, launching the Annihilation Wave against the cosmos during the comic book crossover event Annihilation.

Developed by Kabam, Marvel's Contest of Champions is available on the App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android devices.
