A new collection of toys announced by LEGO and Hasbro seem to confirm that Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie will take up the mantle as the new King of Asgard in Taika Waititi's upcoming film Thor: Love and Thunder.

Among the new merchandise being released as part of the upcoming Marvel collection is a new LEGO set inspired by the film, which includes a mini-figure bearing the name "King Valkyrie." The set consists of 564 pieces and enables fans to build a sized-down version of the Goat Boat. In addition to coming with a King Valkryie mini-figure, the set also includes mini-figures of Mighty Thor, Thor, Korg, and Gorr the God Butcher. The Goat Boat set retails for $49.99 and will be available to order via the LEGO Shop starting on April 26.

The confirmation regarding Valkyrie's new title comes in the wake of Thompson suggesting at Comic-Con International in San Diego that Valkrie would be the first LGBTQ hero within Marvel's ever-expanding universe. During the film's panel, the actor explained, "As new King, she needs to find her new queen, so that'll be her first order of business, she has some ideas. I'll keep you posted."

Marvel Studios President/Marvel CCO Kevin Feige later confirmed that Valkyrie is an LGBTQ hero within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, explaining, "The answer is yes. How that impacts the story remains to be seen with that level of representation you'll see across our films, not in just Thor 4."

While it's unclear exactly who Valkyrie will be romantically involved with in future MCU films, both Thompson and Captain Marvel actor Brie Larson have been vocal about their support for a Valkyrie/Captain Marvel romance. Jaimie Alexander, who portrayed Asgardian warrior Lady Sif in 2011's Thor and 2013's Thor: The Dark World, also volunteered to be Valkyrie's queen in the new film.

Beyond the Goat Boat LEGO set, the new line of collectibles inspired by Love and Thunder also features three new Titan Hero Series figurines from Hasbro, which depict Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Mighty Thor and Waititi as Korg.

Additionally, fans of the Thor films will want to check out two new additions to Hasbro's battle FX roleplay series: an electronic version of Thor's Stormbreaker ax and the latest electronic version of Thor's Mighty Mjolnir hammer. While Mjolnir appeared to be destroyed in Thor: Ragnarok, the cracks in the FX role-play version of Mjolnir suggest the hammer will be put back together and put to use by Jane Foster/Mighty Thor in Love and Thunder.

Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder starring Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, and Chris Hemsworth arrives in theaters July 8.
