The fallout from the upcoming Outlawed one-shot will see Power Pack introduce a new superhero to the Marvel Universe: Agent Aether.

Marvel Comics has provided CBR with an exclusive look at Agent Aether, who will make his debut in April's Power Pack #1 by writer Ryan North and artist Nico Leon. (The page below is from the series' second issue.) The new character will serve as Power Pack’s approved mentor due to the effects of Outlawed, which will see the United States pass a law that bans teenage superheroes from performing their heroic duties.

"Power Pack JUST got back together, but thanks to Kamala’s Law, they now have to find an officially approved mentor before they can continue being super heroes," editor Sarah Brunstad said in a statement. "It takes some searching, but they eventually stumble on a new hero named Agent Aether -- and his vision for saving the world is like nothing Power Pack has encountered before. With Aether’s help, the team sets out to do something scientists have been trying to do for generations: solve the world’s energy crisis. I mean, 'power' is literally in their name -- they have to try, right? Of course, it’s gonna turn out to be more complicated than they realize…"

She added, "For Aether’s design, Ryan and Nico focused on clean imagery -- really classic lines and colors. I think fans are going to be really excited about what he can do."

Below you can find interior art from Power Pack #1 featuring Agent Aether, along with a character design by Leon.
