Marvel Announces Superhero Mash-Up Infinity Warps Miniseries

Earlier this week, Marvel Comics teased a new project by releasing a series of mysterious superhero mash-ups on social media. Today, the publisher peeled back the curtain a little further on the project, releasing hi-res, color versions of several of the character designs, along with the revelation of the project's name.

Artist Humberto Ramos drew the mash-ups of Marvel's various heroes, with the publisher initially releasing them with the Twitter hashtag #WhoGetsWarped. Joining Ramos in the teasing was Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski and writers Gerry Duggan, Al Ewing and Ben Blacker, all of whom are members of the project's creative team, though which one Blacker is associated with has yet to be revealed.

Today, Marvel revealed the Infinity Warps project, a series of miniseries spinning out of the events of the upcoming Infinity Wars series. The character designs below are once again Ramos' art, though he's apparently only providing character designs and cover art for the actual titles.

First, we have the cover for Infinity Wars: Iron Hammer #1, written by Al Ewing with art by Ramon Rosanas. That's followed by Ramos' cover for Infinity Wars: Soldier Supreme #1, written by Infinity Wars scribe Gerry Duggan with interior art by Adam Kubert.

Both series are two issues long, and are slated to arrive in September.
