Marvel Comics hires David Bogart as managing editor

David Bogart, former Editor In Chief of Harris Comics, has joined the Marvelfamily as Managing Editor. Starting Monday, October 15th, David will workwith Editor In Chief Joe Quesada and Director - Publishing Operations BobGreenberger on a variety of efforts, from maintaining Marvel'salways-expanding publishing schedule to developing new series and formats.In addition, David will edit X-Men Unlimited, which will now be publishedbi-monthly.

"What attracted me to Marvel? In one word: talent," Bogart stated. "Notjust the talent on the books, but behind-the-scenes as well. In just alittle over a year, Marvel's management and editorial staff have turned thecompany around. I look forward to becoming a member of the team."
