Doing a cosplay on your own is a lot of fun... but doing a group cosplay with your best friends or siblings? That's even better. Luckily for you, if you decide to go to a fan convention or another public event and do a group cosplay there, you have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to Marvel since it has a lot of superhero teams and other groups you can cosplay, if interested.

Some of them will be more difficult than others but the results should be worth it. You can draw inspiration from the following ten amazing Marvel group cosplays.

10 Avengers

The Avengers is one of the most famous superhero teams ever, Marvel and DC combined, so if you want to go for the good old classics when it comes to creating your group cosplay, this one shouldn't disappoint. The advantage is that you can either draw from the comics and its various versions of the iconic team or if you want to pick something more mainstream, you can cosplay the Avengers as they were portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Another advantage is that the Avengers have a lot of members so if you want to do a truly large group cosplay, there'll be a superhero for everyone, as this group cosplay posted on Twitter by Drew Morrison shows.

9 Defenders

Maybe you want to go for a known team, but the Avengers aren't your cup of tea and you'd rather choose someone who may feel more realistic? Then the Defenders could be the right pick for you and your group of friends. Once again, you can either draw inspiration from the comics or simplify things for you and create your cosplay based on the Netflix show. The Defenders are also known as the street heroes and a big advantage is that you won't need fancy costumes for them since most of them prefer their civil clothes anyway, at least Jessica Jones and Luke Cage do. This cosplay group posted by JGPenland also features other heroes, such as Elektra and Punisher.

8 Fantastic Four

If you plan on doing group cosplay with your family, then who else to turn to than the most famous Marvel family ever? The Fantastic Four has been around for years and experienced many amazing adventures. Even though they don't always see eye to eye and don't agree on everything (as witnessed during the Civil War when Sue eventually switched sides and joined Captain America's team), they're still impressive as a whole.

Plus, their costumes are simple enough, if you can get your hands on the uniforms. The only exception is the Thing, so if you want to cosplay him, make sure you'll have enough time to get your cosplay ready. The fact that preparation is key is further proved by this amazing cosplay by Prop Maker.

7 Guardians Of The Galaxy

Did anyone mention a difficult cosplay? Well, cosplaying the Thing is one thing (pun intended), but cosplaying the Guardians of the Galaxy brings the challenge to a whole new level. There's a difference between the characters' looks, depending on whether you'll decide to cosplay the Guardians from the comics or from the MCU, but some core members, such as Groot or Rocket, look pretty much the same and creating a realistic cosplay of these two will be no easy task. However, this cosplay group by Kittybelcosplay still does an amazing job of re-creating even the more challenging heroes.

6 Heroes For Hire

Luke Cage and Danny Rand didn't say their last word just yet. Not only can you cosplay them thanks to the Defenders cosplay, but you can also look deeper into the comics and choose Heroes for Hire as your group cosplay. Originally, only Luke and Danny created the team, but they later expanded their ranks and took in multiple other heroes from which you can choose if there's more than just two of you. This group cosplay by Morpheus Blade features only three heroes, but other notable members of the Heroes for Hire, you can choose to cosplay, include Colleen Wing, Human Torch, Elektra, Black Widow, Black Panther, and others. This group may be less-known but they're still an amazing team.

5 Inhumans

True, Inhumans didn't do too well on TV and their show was canceled only after one season, but in the comics, they're a force to be reckoned with. Inhumans prefer to keep to themselves but they still interacted with Earth heroes on more than one occasion and even sometimes had romantic relationships with them. Led by the silent but dangerous Black Bolt, Inhumans are a great group cosplay choice for all Marvel fans who like the cosmic part of their stories and enjoy reading about X-Men and mutants in general. Their costumes will definitely draw attention to you, as this cosplay by Reginalt shows.

4 Runaways

Are all members of your group of friends on the younger side and you're having trouble finding the right cosplay? Well, then Runaways could be perfect for you since this team is composed of teenagers with some pretty awesome powers. And they can look awesome as well, such as in this cosplay by NsomniacArtist.

It might take a bit of research and careful preparation to get the cosplay just right since the Runaways don't have costumes as clear and iconic as the Fantastic Four, for example, but it can be done. You can get inspired by comics, you can watch the TV show. or you can do a mixture of both, whatever works best for you.

3 Sinister Six

Maybe you're a bit sick of all the heroes and would prefer to cosplay the bad guys since they usually seem to have more fun. In that case, you cannot choose wrong by picking the Sinister Six, group of Spider-Man's greatest enemies. Similarly to some previously mentioned cosplays, this group won't be easy to cosplay but if you'll put your time and effort in, the end result should be pretty spectacular. Don't take the cosplay too far, though, and if you do decide to cosplay Sinister Six, don't end up fighting every Spider-Man you'll meet along the way or it could get ugly very fast. Yes, this cosplay group posted by Lievan seemed to have gotten along with Spider-Man just fine, but who knows what happened after they took the picture?

2 X-Men

This isn't the first time the name of X-Men appears in this article, and for a good reason. After all, alongside Avengers and Fantastic Four, X-Men is by far the most popular Marvel superhero group. Similarly to Avengers, they've had many members over the years, so no matter how big your friend group is, you won't run out of the mutants to cosplay anytime soon. You can look for inspiration in the comics or turn to films and animated TV shows, whichever you prefer. By far the most popular X-Men characters, at least in the cosplay world, are Wolverine, Mystique, Storm, and Jean Grey, but there's a lot of heroes to choose from, no matter what your gender is. This cosplay group by Stylouz and her/his class are the largest one on this list and it looks amazing, don't you think?

1 Young Avengers

Runaways aren't the only Marvel team of young heroes and aimed at teenage readers, not by a long shot. Another superhero team you can pick for your group cosplay if you're still in your teens or early twenties is the Young Avengers. In case you're not familiar with them, Young Avengers have powers similar to the original Avengers, hence their name. The team has multiple members and rich and complicated history. Some of the members include Hulkling, Marvel Boy, Miss America, Speed, Wiccan, and others. If you want to have a lot of fun with your friends, cosplaying the Young Avengers is the right choice, as this cosplay group by euthanasian shows!
