The Marvel Universe has hundreds of female characters. Many of them have had prominent roles since the start, while others have been sidelined and forgotten for periods of time, or just recently been given attention. Women such as Invisible Woman, The Wasp, Jean Grey, and Storm were iconic and paved the way on their respective teams.

Characters like Black Widow, Dazzler, Spider-Woman, and She-Hulk have gotten solo series since the early days, but many were not as lucky. However, there are still plenty more that deserve their own series.

Over the years, Magik has become very popular, due to her prominence in several comic events, and her appearance in the film New Mutants. A solo series would be an excellent way to develop her character outside of the X-Men and give fans the content they want.
