The Marvel Universe is vast and complicated, with numerous different worlds, realities, and dimensions. The multiverse is a very important concept in Marvel Comics, expanding the universe drastically, with possibilities for new characters, new powers, and new realities.

There are multiple different dimensions mentioned and used in Marvel, almost too many to count. Each dimension has its own unique properties, and each of these dimensions also have characters who draw their powers from them. Some are used by heroes, but many villains like Doctor Doom and Mephisto draw power from these alternate dimensions in order to make themselves greater.

10 Bastion

Sebastion Gilberti, better known as Bastion, was created or "born" when the giant robotic Sentinel Master Mold, who had absorbed the prototype Nimrod into it's systems, was forced through a pan-dimensional portal to be subject to the universe's higher powers.

Since Bastion was created by an Otherworld item the Siege Perilous, this means he has some ability to draw power from other dimensions, including being able to open dimensional portals to his home reality.

9 Doctor Doom

Victor von Doom gained his mystical powers from the Haazareth Three, who hail from the Hell dimension. As a result, this is where Doom's powers stem from, and grant him many different abilities. Doom is a powerful sorcerer, can travel to different dimensions, and summon hordes of demons.

Reece's lab accident resulted in him accessing the "Beyond" dimension, of which some energy escapes and bestows him with infinite powers. He is able to control everything on a molecular level, and is able to warp reality itself.

7 Mephisto

Mephisto is a demon who rules the extradimensional realm of Hell. He wants people to believe he is a being of absolute evil in order to exploit Earth for his own personal gain.

Mephisto's powers stem from the pocket dimension in which he rules, which grants him a number of powers. Mephisto is immortal, with the ability to shapeshift, manipulate reality, and conduct mystical deals. However, as his abilities are powered by his dimension, they seem to fade the longer he spends away from it.

6 Dormammu

Dormammu comes from the Dark Dimension, and is also Lord of the Dark Dimension. The power Dormammu gains from this dimension allows interdimensional travel, necromancy, possession, and the ability to bestow power. Dormammu's many terrifying abilities puts them in the category of one of the most dangerous Marvel villains in comics.

5 Juggernaut

Annihilus is a creature who comes from the Negative Zone, a pocket dimension originally prominently featured in Fantastic Four comics. Annihilus has control over cosmic energy through his Cosmic Control Rod, which hailed from the Negative Zone, giving him immense power and turning him into a universal-level threat.

3 The Beyonder

The Beyonder has powers that surpass any other cosmic entity, and his powers come from the Beyond dimension. He is able to cause multiversal wide destruction and devastation, and has threatened to do so, and also has the ability to scan the minds of the entire world.

This gave Mister Negative his unique photographic negative look, which alters depending on which version of himself he transforms into, either his dark side or his light side.
