Marvel fans attending New York Comic Con next month will be able to get a preview of Marvel's upcoming Freeform drama Cloak and Dagger over in Freeform's activation zone.

Freeform announced that fans will be able to catch a special preview of Cloak & Dagger, Marvel Television's first foray into young adult programming, as part of their activation zone. Although Freeform and Marvel have yet to announce a premiere date for the show, a teaser trailer for the pilot premiered earlier this year and teased a much different corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While the series does not currently have a panel alongside The Runaways, The Punisher and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it's evident that Freeform will see to it that the upcoming show does have a presence at the convention. Located at the corner of 11th and 37th street, the Freeform activation center will be open from October 5th through the 8th. Additional details will be announced at a later date.

Based on the Marvel Comics characters created by Bill Mantlo and Ed Hannigan, Cloak & Dagger stars Olivia Holt as Tandy Bowen/Dagger and Aubrey Joseph as Tyrone Johnson/Cloak, as well as Andrea Roth as Tandy’s mother Melissa Bowen, Gloria Reuben as Tyrone’s mother Adina Johnson, Miles Mussenden as Tyrone’s father Michael Johnson, Carl Lundstedt as Tandy’s partner in crime Liam, James Saito as Dr. Bernard Sanjo and J.D. Evermore as Detective Connors. The series is targeted to premiere in 2018 on the Disney-owned Freeform.
