10 Arkon Is Nowhere Near Close The MCU

Arkon holding his sword in front of his home planet

Created by Roy Thomas and John Buscema in 1970, Arkon is a warlord from the planet Polemachus. As a sword-and-sorcery hero a la Conan The Barbarian, he's a powerful hand-to-hand combatant as well as an expert swordsman. He possesses superhuman strength and reflexes, as well as an accelerated healing factor.

As the lord of a planet that idolizes war, Arkon takes pride in being a merciless warrior, which is why, in the beginning, the Avengers consider him a threat. However, he has also been an ally of Earth Mightiest Heroes several times. Even though Arkon has been in the comics for 40 years, there aren't any plans to bring him into the MCU soon.

9 Fuse May Be Too Recent To Be Adapted

Johnny Watts, aka Fuse, is a young man with the ability to transform his body's density in order to mimic the physical properties of any material he touches. He accompanies this ability with adamantium piercings to ensure he always has this powerful material around. As of 2022, Fuse is a loyal member of the West Coast Avengers.

Since Fuse dated Kate Bishop for a while, some fans thought he would appear in the Disney+ series Hawkeye. However, this wasn't the case. As a fairly new superhero, it may be too soon to bring Fuse into the MCU, but there's still time for Clint to recruit the West Coast Avengers before retiring.

8 Sunfire Needs To Wait For The X-Men To Arrive At The MCU

sunfire from the x-men

Shiro Yoshida, who goes by the moniker of Sunfire, is a mutant of Japanese origins who can absorb the sun's radiation and turn it into hot plasma, which he can blast from his hands. Additionally, Shiro is an expert martial artist and sword combatant. His only weakness is that he's incapable of being a team player, which forbids him to be a stable X-Men member.

As of 2022, Sunfire is yet to have a live-action adaptation. In addition to appearing in the X-Men comics, he has appeared in animated series, such as Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and X-Men. For Sunfire to show his power in the MCU, Disney needs to hurry up and introduce the X-Men to this universe.

Although Firestar hasn't been introduced to the MCU, this universe already has its own version of Liz Allan in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Portrayed by Laura Harrier, she's a student from Peter Parker's school with whom he has a brief romance until her father, the villain Vulture, stops it. The MCU has a golden chance to introduce Liz back as Firestar in future projects. Only time will tell if they take it.

6 Noh-Varr Would Be The Deepest Teenage Hero In The MCU

Marvel Comics Noh-Varr

Noh-Varr, who is also known as Marvel Boy or Protector, was created by Grant Morrison and J.G Jones for Marvel Boy #1. He's a Kree super-soldier from Earth-200080 who arrived on Earth-616 after his crew became lost in the Multiverse. Unfortunately, he was the only survivor. He has belonged to different superteams, such as the Avengers, Young Avengers, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

The media have widely praised Morrison and Jones for creating Noh-Varr, an openly LGBTQ+ superhero whose story revolves around his own self-discovery. This character is the perfect protagonist for a deep story focused on identity politics, and it's about time the MCU realizes this.

5 Fantomex Story Must Be Developed In A TV Series

Fantomex gets annoyed over his orders in Marvel comics

Created by Grant Morrison and Igor Kordey in 2002, Fantomex is a half-cyborg, half-mutant clone conceived by the Weapon Plus Program to be an anti-mutant super-sentinel. However, instead of complying, he escaped from his creators and sought help from Professor X and the X-Men. Fantomex can create realistic illusions to misdirect his adversaries and possesses a cybernetic mind, as well as nanite-infused blood, which increases his genius.

Like most of Grant Morrison's characters, Fantomex is far too complex, which may explain why there aren't any adaptations of this character in live-action or animation. If the MCU were to introduce him, it would be better to do it with a TV show, as they did with Marc Spector on Moon Knight.

Wendell Vaughn as Quasar in Marvel Comics

Wendel Vaughn, also known as Quasar, is a superhero created by Don Glut, Roy Thomas, and John Buscema. Originally a simple S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy student, Quasar possesses the Quantum Bands, which allow him to draw quantum energy and re-shape it however he pleases.

According to most fans, Quasar's appeal resides in the fact that he's an everyman, so people empathize with him even if he's all-powerful. So far, there aren't any plans to bring him into the MCU, as Marvel has ignored him for a while, but Quasar would surely fit in with the Guardians of the Galaxy, especially due to the nature of his powers and his earthly attitude.

When she was a young girl, Heather Douglas was taken by Thanos' father, Mentor, who brought her to Titan, where the Shao-Lom monks raised her. Here, she became one of the best martial artists in the Marvel Multiverse and learned to connect with her own psionic powers, even managing to contact a powerful entity called the Dragon of the Moon.

Moondragon was created in 1973 by Bill Everett, Mike Friedrich, and George Tuska. She's one of those rare characters who are superpowerful but widely ignored. Hopefully, the MCU will do her justice whenever they choose to add her to the MCU Avengers roster.

1 Beta Ray Bill Almost Appeared In The Thor Films

Beta Ray Bill Swinging Stormbreaker In Thor Comics

Beta Ray Bill was created in 1983 by Walt Simonson as a joke. According to Simonson, as a monstrous character, Beta Ray Bill was supposed to make readers believe he was a villain, only to be a relatable hero, "an everyman from outer space." This explains why he steals Mjolnir from Thor initially but then receives the Stormbreaker, his own war hammer.

Even though Beta Ray Bill is a fan favorite when it comes to Thor's allies, the MCU Thor movies haven't introduced him yet. According to Kevin Feige, there were plans to bring him into Thor: Ragnarok, but ultimately they chose to wait a bit longer in order to do the character justice. Fans are hopeful that he will finally appear in Thor: Love & Thunder.
