Marvel Entertainment CEO Ike Perlmutter was photographed in public during a visit with President-Elect Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate on Wednesday, a rare occurrence for the reclusive 74-year-old. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Perlmutter was helping the President-Elect organize a health summit,

The CEO of Marvel Entertainment has been a longtime friend of Trump and has connections to the Republican Party. Perlmutter donated $1 million to Trump's veterans fundraiser in January during the 2016 primary season, an action that drew swift criticism on social media. The mogul was also reported to have had Thanksgiving dinner with the President Elect in Mar-a-Lago this past November.

Perlmutter's wife, Laura Perlmutter, is also a member of Trump's Presidential Inauguration Committee alongside casino mogul Steve Wynn and producer Mark Burnett.

With a net worth of an estimated $3.9 billion, the reclusive CEO rarely has his photo taken in public. According to the report, Getty Images and Associated Press photo databases show zero results for Perlmutter, and THR reports it had to commission an artist to create a portrait of him based on descriptions from close friends for a feature about one of his legal battles because no recent public photographs exist.

Perlmutter took over as CEO of Marvel Entertainment in 2005 and sold the company to Disney in 2009 for $4 billion.
