Ghost Rider's journey has come to an end for now.

Writer Ed Brisson revealed Issue #7 of the series was the last installment, though fans have not seen the last of Johnny Blaze or Danny Ketch. "As many have assumed, GHOST RIDER #7 was the last issue of the series," Brisson wrote on Twitter. "I loved writing it; had a hell of a time telling Danny and Johnny's stories; & introducing the Spirit of Corruption. As far as their continued adventures, that will continue elsewhere in the Marvel Universe."

Brisson also took the time to thank his art team, which includes artists Aaron Kuder and Juan M. Frigeri, as well as colorist Jason Keith. "The book would have been nothing without them."

Brisson's Ghost Rider series focused on Johnny Blaze, who had become the King of Hell. Several demons had escaped from his clutches, which led Blaze on the warpath against them. In the process, he gained new abilities, such as the Damnation Stare, and he even ran into his brother Danny Ketch. Their fellow Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes is currently a member of the Avengers, and the Cosmic Ghost Rider -- a future version of Frank Castle -- is wreaking havoc in our time.

Ghost Rider #7, by Ed Brisson and Aaron Kuder, is now on sale from Marvel Comics.
