Following the latest issue of Black Cat, the comic book series will be placed on hiatus. Writer Jed MacKay took to Twitter to discuss the delay and how it ties into an upcoming Marvel storyline."BLACK CAT #12 is out today, which means that the little book that could has cracked a real milestone-a year's worth of issues and an annual! So what's next? Is BLACK CAT cancelled?" MacKay wrote, going on to tease, "No! We've still got scams to pull and loot to grab, and the vaults of the Thieves' Guild aren't going to crack themselves!"RELATED: Black Cat Has Iron Man's Number (And She Knows How To Use It)

MacKay did reveal that when the book returns, it will tie into The King In Black miniseries. That miniseries will see the God of the Symbiotes Knull descend upon Earth, with all of Marvel's heroes joining the fray. He promised that Felicia Hardy and her friends would be "in peril up to their eyeballs."

The Black Cat solo series thus far has followed Felicia Hardy engage in a series of heists across the Marvel Universe. Along the way, she has encountered several heroes including Doctor Strange, Iron Man and the Fantastic Four. It is currently unknown how the comic series will relate to The King In Black.

The King In Black will debut this December from Marvel Comics, and reunites the Venom creative team of Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman.
