This year is poised to be the biggest yet for Black Widow, with the fan-favorite Marvel super-spy receiving her own solo film in theaters later this year. To help celebrate the character's move into the spotlight, Marvel Comics has announced a new prequel miniseries revealing an untold mission from Natasha Romanoff's past.

Ahead of the release of its advance solicitation information for titles going on sale in April, Marvel has released details on Black Widow: Widow's Sting, a prequel that has Natasha working with S.H.I.E.L.D. to infiltrate the criminal underworld, confronting the longtime Spider-Man villain Silvermane. The cover, illustrated by Ema Luppachino, and solicit information are below.
