Marvel has been killing it in sales lately, a pretty normal state of affairs as they have been the sales leader in the industry for quite a while now. The publisher has been putting out a lot of amazing comics that fans should check out, and while miniseries definitely make up a lot of their output, Marvel's ongoings are where the action is. The company has assembled some great writer/artist teams on multiple books, creating great ongoing titles.

Marvel has always put out some of the best superhero books on the market, and right now there is a great selection to choose from. For fans of the publisher, it's a veritable smorgasbord of exceptional books that is hard to narrow down, even though some stand above the rest.

10 Hulk Has Gone In An Entirely New Direction

Anyone trying to follow up The Immortal Hulk was going to have a hard time, but writer Donny Cates and artist Ryan Ottley have been up to the job so far. They immediately set their Hulk apart from its predecessor, with Bruce Banner separating the personalities of the Hulk and piloting the Green Goliath as Starship Hulk, trying to get away from the Earth once and for all.

The "Banner Of War" crossover with Cates' Thor is ending, so readers are about to be dropped back into the action. Cates is setting up something special, and Ottley is the perfect artist for it.

X-Force has been a consistently great book throughout the Krakoa era, and it shows no signs of letting up. Writer Benjamin Percy has been joined by new regular artist Robert Gill, and their first story spins out of the events of X Lives Of Wolverine. The Cerebro helmet used to transport Wolverine through his timeline has gained sentience and is violently cataloging mutants by eating their brains.

Each dead mutant makes the rogue Cerebro more powerful, and only X-Force can handle it. With the brain of Forge the first to fuel it, Cerebro is challenging the team like no other threat. Percy and Gill are crafting a fast-paced violent epic with this one, chock-full of the X-Force action fans love.

8 Shang-Chi And The Ten Rings Brings The Hero Closer To The MCU

Oftentimes, when Marvel tries to go for MCU synergy, it's a big mistake and comic fans definitely aren't quiet about it. However, when talent like writer Gene Lang and artist Marcus To are put in charge of it, fans give it a second look. Shang-Chi And The Ten Rings hasn't started yet, but it has fans buzzing already.

Yang and To worked together on the previous Shang-Chi series, so fans know just how good they are. Seeing them chronicle Shang-Chi's continuing adventures and dealing with the power of the Ten Rings is going to be a treat, and everyone should give it a read.

7 Zdarsky And Checchetto Return To Daredevil

Daredevil has starred in some amazing stories, and writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Marco Checchetto have already joined the pantheon of greats with their run on Daredevil. After ending their first run with Devil's Due, dealing with the fallout of Kingpin's time as mayor and his attack on the city, the two return with July's Daredevil #1.

Zdarsky and Checchetto have made an amazing team on Daredevil so far, and seeing what they have in store next for ol' Hornhead is something that every fan should want to check out. Daredevil hasn't been this good in a long time, and it's looking like it will only get better.

6 Moon Knight Has Been Nothing Short Of Impressive

Moon Knight's star has risen considerably lately, with fans clamoring for more of the Fist of Khonshu. Marvel has obliged them, and the current Moon Knight, by writer Jed McKay and artist Alessandro Cappuccio, has consistently been one of the publisher's best titles. With more eyes than ever on the character, this book has been white-hot.

McKay has made a huge splash and is on the fast track at Marvel, a lot of it because of this book. The creative team has been giving fans just the kind of violent action that a Moon Knight book needs, and readers are in for a treat every time a new issue drops.

5 Savage Avengers Is Near Perfect

The Avengers have had some powerful rosters, but they've only recently become savage. Savage Avengers has returned with an all new series by writer David Pepose and artist Carlos Magno. A new team of Savage Avengers - Conan, Elektra, Cloak, Dagger, Weapon H, Black Knight, and Anti-Venom - come together as Deathlok comes from the future to destroy the barbarian.

Pepose and Magno have already shown that they're the creative team to beat in this book's first two issues. So far, this has been an action-packed comic, with great characterization and plot. The art is gorgeous, and it all comes together to make an amazing new book.

4 Wolverine Is Still The Best

Wolverine is the best there is at what he does, and writer Benjamin Percy and artist Adam Kubert have been proving that throughout the Krakoa era. Much like Percy's X-Force, Wolverine has been among the best books of the era, and since its return after X Lives/X Deaths Of Wolverine, Percy has thrown a fun wild card into the mix: Deadpool.

Teaming Wolverine and Deadpool together makes for perfect odd couple comic fun, and Percy is doing an amazing job. Kubert's art is some of the best of his career; Wolverine hasn't looked this good in ages. Percy is the best Wolverine writer in years, and he and Kubert are doing amazing work.

3 Eternals Is Better Than It Has Any Right To Be

With the Avengers/X-Men/Eternals event crossover Judgement Day coming up, Eternals has taken its place atop Marvel's pecking order. Writer Kieron Gillen and artist Esad Ribić have been killing it since day one, presenting one of Marvel's best team books month in, month out. It's quickly leaped beyond its upcoming crossover mates Avengers and X-Men in quality.

Gillen has been on a tear in the last few years, and Eternals proves it. It's masterfully written and plotted, with Ribić's amazing art anchoring the series. Eternals has been a hard sell for years and this book being one of the best on the market right now is wonderful.

2 X-Men Red Is Al Ewing At His Best

A pained Magneto, his flesh almost disassembled by the powers of the mutant Tarn, who stands behind him.

After creating the best Hulk book in years, The Immortal Hulk writer Al Ewing has been given another big-time A-list book with X-Men Red. Joined by artist Stefano Caselli, this new book focuses on Arakko, the planet formerly known as Mars. As S.W.O.R.D. director Abigail Brand, now working with Orchis, unleashes her machinations on the planet, Storm, Magneto, and Sunspot form a new Brotherhood.

S.W.O.R.D. never really came together as a book, bogged down by crossovers until the last three issues when Ewing crammed ten issues worth of plot into the book. X-Men Red has already proven to be better than that, and it has Ewing and Caselli doing what they do best, telling intense, action-packed stories.

1 Immortal X-Men Has Taken The Flagship Position After Only Two Issues

Since writer Jonathan Hickman left, X-Men has been struggling as the flagship book of the X-titles, saved only by the amazing art. However, writer Kieron Gillen's return to the X-Men, alongside artist Lucas Werneck, with Immortal X-Men has proven that the Krakoa era hasn't fizzled out. Starring the most important mutants on the island nation, Immortal X-Men deals with the trial and tribulations of the Quiet Council.

Even though it's only two issues in, Immortal X-Men has already had more big moments than the entire first year of X-Men since Hickman left that book. Werneck's art is gorgeous and if this book is this good already it can only get better, especially with this creative team.
