This film was created using the 2-D wrap, a technique that combines traditional animation and modern technology. This explains the texture of the backgrounds in every sequence of the film.

IMDb Score: 5.0

A definite holiday experience, Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Frost Fight! is a great option to watch during the Holidays. It features renowned voice actors like Mick Wingert and Fred Tatasciore and it also has a Christmassy vibe. Its only problem is that it may be too kid-oriented to be enjoyed by adult fans.

10 The Invincible Iron Man (2007)

IMDb Score: 5.8

Before Robert Downey Jr. flew high above the world's expectations, Tony Stark's origin story was told through an animated film that featured him facing off against the Mandarin. The Invincible Iron Man presented an intriguing story, and much like the live-action, it took its character seriously and with respect. However, it wasn't afraid to include Stark's cocky humor.

9 Next Avengers: Heroes Of Tomorrow (2008)

Considering Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow looks like it's a silly and goofy superhero romp starring kids, it's easy to go in with low expectations. 7 Ultimate Avengers II (2006)

IMDb Score: 6.5

With all the same characters returning from the first film, this movie introduces Black Panther, who would become a core ally for the Avengers. In a great leap for the character, Black Panther's story was told respectfully, and the Avengers proved outstanding once again.

Ultimate Avengers II tries to do a little too much in its shorter runtime, making it feel jumbled and preventing some characters from getting the screen time they desire. Despite that, everything that was great about the first movie returns for this one, which makes it a great sequel.

6 Ultimate Avengers: The Movie (2006)

IMDb Score: 6.6

Before Kevin Feige and Joss Whedon brought the characters to life in the major team-up film, Marvel Animation gave fans Ultimate Avengers: The Movie. Despite having a less than two-hour runtime, the film introduced fans to a well-performed and illustrated cast of characters and some exquisite action scenes.

Taking more inspiration from the Ultimate comics, Ultimate Avengers presented a new take on the Avengers that felt like a spectacle. Every frame of animation was top quality, and the same proved true for the voice acting. It also featured a darker version of the Incredible Hulk, depicting him as an anti-hero who took on all the Avengers.

3 Hulk Vs. (2009)

IMDb Score: 6.9

Presenting two movies for the price of one, the double feature Hulk Vs. pit everyone's jolly green giant against two of Marvel's most powerful and dangerous individuals. One of Wolverine's most surprising stories, it had Hulk battle the X-Men icon along with some villains for good measure, while the other story depicted a brainwashed Hulk facing off against Thor.

Character development and storytelling weren't the stars of these movies, but some fans didn't care. Instead, Hulk Vs. simply delivered loads of epic battles and character clashes in some of the most well-crafted action scenes of the straight-to-DVD animated films.

2 Big Hero 6 (2014)

Adapting one of the most ambitious storylines from the comics, Into The Spider-Verse nailed every element. From fantastic performances and relatable characters to the revolutionary animation and thrilling action, many saw the film as flawless. Into The Spider-Verse beat out a Pixar movie as an Oscar winner for Best Animated Film.
