Square Enix's upcoming video game Marvel's Avengers will feature a multitude of alternate costumes and skins for its various playable heroes. We now have confirmation that these will include seasonal costumes that will be available during certain times of the year, though players will have to wait a bit longer for the specifics.

Two members of the Marvel's Avengers development team -- War Zones director Philippe Therien and game designer Lauryn Ash -- recently took part in an AMA on the r/MarvelsAvengers subreddit, during which they were asked by a fan if the game would include seasonal costumes and emotes to commemorate holidays like Halloween and Christmas.

"We are looking into that, the short answer is yes but not for everything so we are making a list of what that is," Therien replied. "Some will be revealed when these events happen however... so you have to be patient!" Multiple alternate outfits players will be able to access have already been revealed ahead of the game's launch next month.

Developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos-Montréal and published by Square Enix, Marvel's Avengers arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and PC on Sep. 4.
