After months of waiting, and at least two days of teasing, Marvel Studios has finally announced that the first trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War will be debuting Wednesday, November 29.RELATED: Avengers: Infinity War Trailer Images LeakOriginally, thanks to co-directors the Russo brothers' countdown on Facebook,it was believed the trailer would arrive on Thursday, but that's turned out to be not the case. Marvel made the announcement on Twitter in a tweet thanking longtime fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, calling them the "best in the universe."

The upcoming superhero team up film will see the Avengers come back together after spending some years scattered across Earth (and in Thor and Hulk's case, the cosmos) to stop the villainous Thanos. After nearly a decade of trying and failing to acquire the all powerful Infinity Stones, Thanos has made his way to Earth with his powerful Black Order, and it's all hands on deck, including everyone's favorite Guardians of the Galaxy. But Thanos has been waiting in the shadows for a reason, and it's likely not all the Avengers will make it out of this unscathed.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie. The film opens May 4, 2018.
