By any measure, Marvel's Avengers is one of the most hotly-anticipated superhero games in years. While details about the Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics game have been kept tightly under wrap, one major aspect of the game's release was revealed on the game's official Twitter today. The account tweeted out a picture of a banner promoting the game at E3 on the side of the LA Convention Center. As several eagle-eyed Twitter users noticed, the banner revealed that the game will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.RELATED: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Merchandise Reveals 3 New Heroes

While the game's presence on those current-gen consoles isn't a surprise, it's a slightly unexpected addition to the lineup for Stadia, Google's upcoming browser-based service that will theoretically let anyone with a decent Internet connection experience high-end PC gaming. The service will offer some games through a subscription service but will require users to purchase some games separately.

Unsurprisingly, Marvel's Avengers will not be released on the Nintendo Switch. However, the system is getting the exclusive Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order later this year.

The Marvel's Avengers Twitter also revealed the game's tagline, "Embrace Your Powers." While that doesn't reveal much about the title, a description of Square Enix's E3 showcase suggested that the title will "combine cinematic storytelling with continuous single-player and co-operative gameplay."

Additional details about Marvel's Avengers will be revealed at Square Enix's E3 press conference June 10 at 6:00 PM PST/9 PM EST.
