Marvel Partners With Aspen for Exclusive Immortal Hulk, Black Cat Variants

Marvel Comics has partnered with Aspen Comics to produce exclusive, limited edition variant covers for Marvel titles Immortal Hulk and Black Cat.

Artists Dale Keown and Peter Steigerwald have provided two virgin variant covers for the upcoming Immortal Hulk #20. The first variant, which sees the Hulk sporting his familiar green look, is limited to 1500 copies. The second virgin variant, in which the Hulk adopts his classic gray look, is limited to 1000 copies.

Meanwhile, two Aspen variants have also been provided for Black Cat #2. The covers feature art by the late Michael Turner and the aforementioned Steigerwald. The standard version is limited to 3000 copies, whereas the "Midnight Prowl" virgin variant is limited to 1000 copies.

All four variants will be available for pre-order on AspenStore.com beginning tomorrow, June 17 at 10 a.m EST. Note that the rarer variant in each respective pair is only available to be purchased in a bundle containing both covers. CGC graded copies of all the comics, as well as signed copies of the Immortal Hulk books, are also available.

Written by Al Ewing with art by Joe Bennett, Immortal Hulk #20 goes on sale July 3 from Marvel Comics.

Written by Jed Mackay with art by Travel Foreman, Black Cat #2 goes follows suit one week later on July 10.
