Marvel has announced via Twitter that a new trailer for "Avengers: Age of Ultron" will debut on January 12 during ESPN's airing of the College Football Championship. The tweet, which can be seen below, also included a video teaser for the trailer that repurposes footage from the sequel's first clip.

Disney most likely hopes that this trailer's release goes off without a hitch, as opposed to what happened for the initial "Age of Ultron" footage. After announcing that the first trailer would air during an episode of ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," an international version of the coveted clip leaked, forcing Marvel Studios to publish the real trailer online.

The College Football Playoff National Championship Presented By AT&T, which sees Oregon square off agains Ohio State, airs at 8:30 PM EST on January 12. "Avengers: Age of Ultron" opens in theaters on May 1.
