This September, Marvel Comics will release special action figure variant covers by John Tyler Christopher featuring Coulson, Agent May, Fitz, Simmons, Agent Carter and Skye on their five previously announced "S.H.I.E.L.D." one-shots, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Marvel Comics announced at C2E2 that, as part of their 50th anniversary celebration of S.H.I.E.L.D., they will release five one-shot stories highlighting popular S.H.I.E.L.D. agents: "Nick Fury" written by David Walker; "Agent May" written by Jody Houser and drawn by Luke Ross; "Mockingbird" written by Chelsea Cain and drawn by Joelle Jones; "Agent Carter" written by Kathryn Immonen; and "Quake" written by Matt Rosenberg and Patrick Kindlon.

Now, they have unveiled special action figure variant covers by the Harvey Award-winning Christopher. Agent Coulson will appear on "Mockingbird," May on her own special, Fitz and Simmons on "Nick Fury," Peggy Carter on "Agent Carter" and Skye from the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." television show on "Quake."

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is scheduled to return to ABC on September 29 at 9 pm EST. These one-shots and their special variants will hit shelves in September as well.
