The seventh and final season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has landed a premiere date.
New episodes of Marvel series will begin airing on Wednesday, May 27 at 10 p.m. ET as part of ABC's summer lineup.
Season 6 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. saw the S.H.I.E.L.D. team, including Daisy Johnson/Quake, Melinda May, Leo Fitz, Jemma Simmons, Director Alphonso "Mack" MacKenzie, Yo-Yo Rodriguez and Deke Shaw being transported to the past in order to defeat the malevolent Chronicoms. However, to give them an advantage, Simmons activated a Life Model Decoy of the late Phil Coulson.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the longest-running live-action Marvel television show, gaining a cult following across the years. The seventh and final season was announced at 2019's Comic-Con International in San Diego. The show also inspired a comic book series at Marvel, which saw Coulson and his team embark on adventures across the Marvel Universe.
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Henry Simmons, Iain De Caestecker, Natalia Cordova-Buckley, Elizabeth Henstridge and Clark Gregg. Season 7 premieres Wednesday, May 27 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
