Thursday saw various editors at Marvel Comics share a teaser on social media for an event titled "Acts of Evil!" with a release date of July.

No further information has been released regarding what "Acts of Evil!" is or when more information will be shared, but with this month marking the release of the publisher's July solicitations, we'll no doubt find out more within the next couple of days and weeks.

Marvel editors Chris Robinson, Alanna Smith, Danny Khazem and Kathleen Wisneski all shared the "Acts of Evil!" teaser Thursday afternoon within hours of one another. Out of all four posts, Wisneski's possibly contained the most information, as she said, "Act of Evil the First: I'm withholding additional information about this! FOR NOW"

Wisneski's use of "Act of Evil the First" could mean the event will be split up into different volumes or chapters, with it running for an unspecified amount of time. Marvel published a similarly-titled crossover from 1989 through 1990 with the name "Acts of Vengeance." The crossover saw Loki gather many of Marvel's biggest villains together to overthrow the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men and Spider-Man. Some of the main players on the villains' side included Doctor Doom, Red Skull, Kingpin, the Mandarin and Magneto.

Stay tuned to CBR as more information regarding "Acts of Evil!" is revealed.
