On August 7, Cebulski tweeted, "The summer of spectacular Marvel comics continues today... Absolute Carnage #1! (Look closely at your copy.) House of X #2! Agents of Atlas #1! Aero #2! Future Foundation #1! (Who is Rebecca?) Black Cat #3! Daredevil #9! Immortal Hulk #22! Major X #0! Savage Avengers #4! #NCBD."

According to Marvel.com, the sketches by the Carnage co-creator will be by the back cover of the 20 randomly selected issues. Those who are lucky enough to find one in their copy are encouraged to post a photo of the sketch on social media using the hashtags #absolutecarnage and #carnagerules.
