When "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" returns tonight with its second episode, The CW's new series explains a little more how time travel works in the Arrowverse when Rip Hunter's crew travels back to the '70s.

The following featurette focuses on how Prof. Martin Stein, White Canary and Jefferson Jackson react when they find themselves face to face with a college aged Stein. The elder Stein dips into the dangers of time travel, using the very real possibility that meeting White Canary might derail his younger self's romance with his future wife -- thanks to the hero being the team's "sexy assassin."

Airing Thursday nights at 8 pm EST on The CW, "Legends of Tomorrow" stars Caity Lotz as White Canary, Brandon Routh as the Atom, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Victor Garber as Professor Martin Stein (one-half of Firestorm), Franz Drameh as Jefferson "Jax" Jackson (the other half of Firestorm), Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl and Arthur Darvill as time-traveler Rip Hunter.
