Mark Strong May Have Just Been Confirmed For James Bond 25

Mark Strong Kingsman 2

The 25th James Bond movie may have recruited Kingsman's Mark Strong.

A recent Instagram video from personal trainer Giacomo Farci that shows Strong working out is accompanied by hashtags for James Bond, 007, star Daniel Craig, director Danny Boyle. Farci has served as the trainer on several films featuring Strong, ranging from the upcoming Shazam! to Green Lantern to the two Kingsman installments.

Sony and Boyle have yet to confirm Strong's casting, and the film isn't targeted to go before the cameras until early December, so it'll be some time before there's an official announcement.

Strong is no stranger to big-budget franchises, of course, with Sherlock Holmes, Kingsman: The Secret Service and The Golden Circle, and the upcoming Shazam! among his list of credits. He also played Sinestro in 2011's Green Lantern. The first trailer for Shazam! will possibly see a premiere next month at Comic-Con International in San Diego, along with a surprise appearance of footage for Wonder Woman 1984.

Written by John Hodge (Trainspotting), based on an idea by Boyle, Bond 25 comes to theaters on Nov. 8, 2019.
