Last year, during an interview with Good Morning America, Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo gave away the ending of Avengers: Infinity War.

Judging by the comments on the tweet and Don Cheadle's ability to stay relatively straight-faced, most everyone dismissed this moment as a joke. Looking back, it's fairly obvious that Ruffalo's regret is all too real.

Lucky for Ruffalo, a statement like "Wait until you see this next one, half- everybody dies!" was far-fetched enough for most people to think it a joke. Plus, Ruffalo was also doing press for Thor: Ragnarok at the same time he was filming Infinity War, which could have led some to believe he simply got his wires crossed about the two films.

Ruffalo previously found himself in hot water with Disney after he accidentally livestreamed the beginning of Thor: Ragnarok. His costars told Jimmy Kimmel that Ruffalo was by far the worst at keeping secrets of the entire cast.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The film is out in theaters now.
