Mark Ruffalo's Dream She-Hulk Casting Is Never Going to Happen

After Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige announced plans to launch a She-Hulk series for Disney+, fans have flood the internet with their ideal casting for the show's titular character. Mark Ruffalo, who plays The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, also weighed in on the casting, adding who he believed would be the perfect actress to play his cousin.

"I mean, Tessa Thompson's already Valkyrie but she'd be a great She-Hulk," Ruffalo told Entertainment Tonight during the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's Patron of the Artists Awards. While Jennifer Walters acquires her Hulk abilities in the comics by receiving a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, there is no confirmation this will be the origin story that Marvel Studios decides to go with for She-Hulk. Thus, fans are left to wonder whether or not Ruffalo will appear in the series or have a connection to She-Hulk at all.

Marvel's She-Hulk will stream exclusively on Disney+. No release date or casting information is available at this time. However, Disney+ is available now in the United States.
