Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner / Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, believes that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will help with the eventual success of Deadpool 3.

During an interview with IGN, Ruffalo was asked if he felt that the fourth-wall breaking humor featured in She-Hulk will help reassure any fans skeptical of how Disney will approach the upcoming third Deadpool film. "I mean, listen, you know Ryan [Reynolds] can take that anywhere, and I trust that he will," Ruffalo responded. "The one thing about Marvel is they pretty much let the filmmakers make the film they want to make. I mean, sometimes it doesn't work out. But every experience I've had it's been like that."

Ruffalo continued, "I mean, what we did with Thor: Ragnarok was they'd thrown out basically Thor and totally reimagined him, and Hulk... for that matter. So I feel confident that, between [director] Shawn [Levy] and Ryan, they're gonna do something that's gonna be very satisfying to the Deadpool people," he said. "And I do feel like She-Hulk sorta does say 'Hey, we're open enough, we're free enough and we're interested enough to really go anywhere people have the will and the pleasure to go.'"

The comparisons being made between Deadpool and She-Hulk are to be expected since both of their titular leads posses the uncanny ability to break the fourth wall and talk directly to the audience, something the characters are also able to do in their respectie comics. Although the Merc with a Mouth is far more famous for his meta humor, She-Hulk had actually been breaking the fourth wall for two years by the time Deadpool was even introduced in 1991. She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany even went as far imagine an incredibly meta MCU scene in which Deadpool and Jen Walters interact with each other and the audience.

Although She-Hulk: Attorney at Law features plenty of fourth wall jokes, series creator Jessica Gao revealed recently that there were originally plans to go even further with the concept. "At one point, there was an iteration in the scripts where, instead of really talking directly to camera, there were, kind of text boxes that were editor's notes, like the comic books, how there were editor's notes in comics," Gao explained. "And [She-Hulk] was actually interacting with the editor's notes that would be onscreen... we went through a lot of different versions of how she would do it."

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is now streaming on Disney+ with new episodes premiering every Thursday. The upcoming MCU-set Deadpool 3 has not confirmed release date at this time.
