To mark the one year anniversary of Avengers: Endgame's release, Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo shared his gratitude with fans on social media.In addition to the message, Ruffalo included photos of himself at the Endgame world premiere and another where he stands alongside the other five actors that form the core Marvel Cinematic Universe Avengers team. "Feeling nostalgic that it's been a year since Avengers: Endgame was in theaters," he wrote. "Thank you all for being a part of this wild journey with us." Compared to the other Avengers, Ruffalo's Bruce Banner underwent a massive transformation in Endgame. During the five years since Thanos snapped half the universe out of existence, his human and Hulk selves finally made peace with one another, merging into an articulate being dubbed "Professor Hulk." With both Banner's intelligence and Hulk's strength combined, this version of Hulk helped design the time travel apparatus that enabled the Avengers to retrieve the Infinity Stones and snap the deceased back to life.

Endgame saw critical acclaim and beat Avatar's box office record to become the highest grossing film of all time. To celebrate the film's one year anniversary, Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo announced on Instagram that they will host a re-watch of the film at 4pm PST/7 pm EST and will live-tweet it on social media. The Russo Brothers will also be live on Instagram for the first hour, with a potential guest appearing.
