Fans desperate to uncover spoilers for Star Wars: The Last Jedi have taken to reading older comics in the hopes a clue can be discovered. When Mark Hamill is presented with a comic book cover featuring the title of Episode VIII, the actor jokingly begs fans not to read the "spoiler-laden" comic.
"I'm begging you! For your own good-DO NOT READ this spoiler-laden comic book before FridayDecember15th 2017 You'll thank me later," Hamill posted on Twitter. Before you rush to the Marvel Unlimited app hoping to find crucial plot details for The Last Jedi, Hamill posted a follow-up message indicating it would be foolhardy to expect director Rian Johnson to rely on an almost 30-year old comic for inspiration.
Unfortunately, it looks like audiences will have to wait a few months longer to learn what becomes of our heroes from the Star Wars prequels and newer heroes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Debuting in theaters on December 15, Star Wars: The Last Jedi is a production of Lucasfilm directed by Rian Johnson and starring Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran.
