Star Wars is not just a boys club.

A father asked Mark Hamill for his thoughts after his daughter was made fun of by a group of boys for wearing Darth Vader sneakers to school. Hamill was king enough to respond, shutting them, and anyone else who claims that Star Wars is just for boys, down.

"I think Luke & Han are lucky Leia took over their 'rescue' on the Death Star or it would've been a very short movie," Hamill replied.

Of course, Hamill had plenty of other material to work with. He could have pointed to Padmé Amidala and her heroic actions and bravery, or Rey, the heroine of the new trilogy, who defeated Palpatine and saved Kylo Ren from the Dark Side of the Force.

Directed and co-written by J.J. Abrams, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong' o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Keri Russell, Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, and Carrie Fisher, with Naomi Ackie and Richard E. Grant. The film is now in theaters.
