What We Do In The Shadows is a half-hour FX comedy centering on the lives, loves and tribulations of three vampires on Staten Island. The show is inspired by the 2014 film of the same name co-written by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. In contrast to typical vampire fare, featuring either blood-dripping horror or sensual romance, Shadows features a more humorous slice of life atmosphere better known in single-camera sitcoms.

While most famous for his part in Star Wars, which he recently reprised in The Rise of Skywalker, Hamill is no stranger to odd and compelling roles. From the son of Anakin Skywalker to the Crown Prince of Crime in Batman: The Animated Series to the Scientist on The Dark Crystals: Age of Resistance, Hamill has lead a storied career. Hamill's most recent film credit outside of the latest Star Wars assignment was as Chucky the killer doll in the 2019 remake of Child's Play.
