Marvel Comics continues to build anticipation for Amazing Spider-Man's eight hundredth issue, an over-sized offering that will feature a main story by Dan Slott and Stuart Immonen, bringing the Red Goblin saga to a close.

Editor Nick Lowe has called the issue the "biggest single-issue story I’ve ever worked on," adding, "Dan and Stuart are being joined by some very important past Amazing Spider-Man artists to bring it to you in the coolest way possible! Everything you’ve loved about Dan Slott’s run on this book is on full display in this monumental issue that will have you shivering, crying, cheering, laughing and wishing it would never end!”

In addition to being the next-to-last chapter of Slott's lengthy run writing the wall-crawler, Amazing #800 will feature covers and interior art by some of the biggest names to ever draw Spider-Man. Today, the publisher has debuted a variant by Mark Bagley, himself a big part of Amazing's history, as well as being the co-creator who helped launch Ultimate Spider-Man.

Check out Bagley's cover, inked by Andrew Hennessy and colored by Jason Keith, along with the issue's solicitation copy, below.
