Margot Robbie is poised to reprise her role as Harley Quinn in at least four upcoming movies: Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City Sirens, the Harley Quinn solo movie and Joker & Harley Quinn. Although those planned projects don't yet have release dates, the actress assures fans they'll see the DC Comics antiheroine on the big screen again sooner rather than later.
"Everyone has been working really hard, myself included, to get Harley back on screen," Robbie told Collider. "I think it will be quite soon. There's so much more to explore with her. I can't wait! I hope next year, but with bigger films, it takes a lot longer to get it all up and running."
Robbie also mentioned that she doesn't yet know what director Gavin O'Connor's take will be on the Suicide Squad sequel. She did, however, express her passion for the character, saying, "I didn't get enough of her! I was like, 'I need to keep playing her!' I love her so much."
In addition to her live-action roles, Warner Bros. is reportedly eyeing Robbie to voice the character for one of its animated TV series.
The next film in which Robbie's Harley Quinn will appear is Suicide Squad 2, slated for release sometime in 2019.
