Writer and "Fatman Beyond" co-host Marc Bernardin has pitched a John Constantine/Lucifer team-up series following their meeting in "Crisis on Infinite Earths."Bernardin took to Twitter to propose his ideal, hypothetical series, which would see both Matt Ryan and Tom Ellis reprising their roles of John Constantine and Lucifer, respectively.RELATED: Lucifer Joins the Arrowverse in BTS Crisis on Infinite Earths Photo

Lucifer co-showrunner Joe Henderson responded with his support in the form of a gif of Ellis' Lucifer saying "Lucifer likes." Ryan also responded with a gif of his own:

"All we need is @warnerbrostv and @tomellis17," wrote Bernardin following Henderson and Ellis' replies. "Let's sew this deal up by Christmas, yes?"

Ryan and Ellis mostly appeared in their respective roles in "Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Three," which saw Ellis make his Arrowverse debut, where he would provide John Constantine with a card that allowed him access to purgatory.

Ryan's Constantine will return in the upcoming fifth season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which debuts with a special episode "Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Five" on Jan. 14, 2o20, before returning for a proper season premiere the following week on Jan. 21, 2020. Lucifer will return for its fifth and final season on Netflix.
