Dawn of X, the line-wide X-Men relaunch helmed by Jonathan Hickman is in full swing, with the new series Marauders by Gerry Duggan and Matteo Lolli debuting this week.

Marvel Comics has released a launch trailer to promote the ambitious new title, featuring Duggan along with X-Men group editor Jordan D. White and Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski. The promo features an extensive glimpse at the series, as Captain Kate Pryde commands a pirate ship on the high seas to deliver medicine produced on the mutant nation-state of Krakoa around the world.

"Marauders is probably the most important book of the Dawn of X books so far as furthering the world of the X-Men and the status quo of the X-Men," White observed as the team is seen recruiting longtime villains Sebastian Shaw and Pyro.

Hickman's House of X miniseries saw Emma Frost reclaim her title as the White Queen while taking control of the Hellfire Trading Company. Now in a position of power and influence on Krakoa, Emma turns to her frenemy Kitty Pryde for a vitally important new mission.
