Beginning life on the network in 2018, Manifest is a supernatural mystery/drama series from NBC. Though it initially started with fairly good ratings -- especially for how relatively niche its subject matter was -- these ratings would be cut in half by the show's third season.

This declining viewership has seen Manifest canceled by NBC, even if it did snag quite a fandom through streaming. This has made watching the series in its entirety more desired than ever. With seasons 1 and 2 having already gained a lot of traction on Netflix, here's where and how viewers can watch Manifest's third and final season.

Manifest Seasons 1 and 2 and the Series' Cancellation

The plot of Manifest is somewhat similar to that of Lost and The 4400, involving the passengers of a flight from Jamaica to New York. The flight's experience in the air is unusually turbulent, and when the plane lands, the passengers realize that over five years have passed on without them. From there, they have to find a way to reintegrate themselves into their lives while dealing with strange visions and voices guiding their actions.

The series' first 16-episode season aired from September 2018 to February 2019, with its average of 12 million viewers putting it in the ninth rank for its time slot. Season 2 had 13 episodes, airing from January to April 2020. It was only ranked 38, however, having accrued only 7.7 million viewers on average. Likewise, the recently ended third season, also 13 episodes, was all the way down to the 54th rank, not even keeping 4 million viewers for its run.

When combined with the somewhat middling reviews, it arguably made sense that Manifest was canceled with its third season. For a while, there was hope that the show might continue on a streaming service such as Netflix, especially given that the first two seasons are already streamed there. This sadly won't be the case, even with the showrunners having around three more seasons planned, but fans will still soon be able to stream the entire series.

Where to Watch Manifest Season 3

As mentioned, the first two seasons of Manifest are already on Netflix, and they've recently become quite popular following the show's network cancellation. Logically, the third season will be added to Netflix in time, though this won't be immediate given that the season just ended airing on cable this month.

Sadly, that means that the entire series can't be binged all at once through an easy format like Netflix. Season 3 can be accessed, however, through NBC's website. This is somewhat cumbersome, however, as a viewer has to link their cable provider account with the site or create an NBCUniversal account in order to access the show. The latter option will grant the user's account three credits, which can be used to unlock any three of the third season's episodes.

Additional credits can't be bought, so that means that only three episodes total can be watched this way. Thus, the best way to enjoy the series as a whole and catch up is to just wait until the third and last season is added to Netflix.

Produced by Warner Bros. Television, Universal Television, Compari Entertainment and Jeff Rake Productions, Manifest stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long and Holly Taylor.
