This coupling is horrible for two reasons. On the one hand, whether reincarnated or not, Athanasia and Claude are still related. Second, and most alarming, Athanasia is a child while Claude is a grown man.

Fans of Who Made Me A Princess have a choice in how to perceive this coupling. They can either love them as an adorable father-daughter duo or as a very unwanted pairing that should not exist in the first place.

Hong Seol & Yoo Jung (Cheese In The Trap)

Hong Seol and Yoo Jung are among the most famous manhwa couples as Cheese in the Trap is one of the first well-loved manhwa, but that doesn't mean they were the healthiest. Yoo Jung harassed Hong Seol so much that she had to take a break from college.

Then, Yoo Jung does a full 180 and begins treating her exceptionally well when she returns. Although their relationship grows into a well-balanced one, the beginning was so toxic that it was a surprise more fans didn't take notice.

Love Alarm shows fans a lot of red flags when going into a relationship as a teenager. This series revolves around a love app called "Love Alarm" that allows people to notify their prospective lover through a notification in a 10-meter radius.

First, Jo-Jo and Hwang Sun-Oh meet in a very questionable way. After Hwang Sun-Oh follows her into an alleyway, he asks her if she wants to kiss. Jo-Jo agrees, and they do so ー all in the first episode and chapter. Their relationship feels forced and not that healthy.

Choi Dae-Hyun & Jung Saet-Byul (Convenience Store Saet-Byul)

Convenience Store Saet-byul has garnered a lot of attention from South Korean for encouraging a relationship with main characters who have an age gap of seven years. This is a significant age difference that can foster an unhealthy power dynamic.

Even fans who aren't unnerved by the age gap should still be wary of another problem. Specifically, Jung Saet-byul makes many sexual advances toward Choi Dae-hyun, which adds another uncomfortable layer to an already problematic relationship.

Yoon Bum & Oh Sangwoo (Killing Stalking)

Killing Stalking shouldn't be put in the category of a romance manhwa. However, many fans think of Yoon Bum and Sangwoo as a BL couple, which is extremely troubling considering what Sangwoo does.

Killing Stalking is a psychological horror series in which the serial killer Oh Sangwoo kidnaps a mentally ill boy named Yoon Bum after breaking into his house and becoming infatuated with him. This "relationship" is toxic right from the outset.

Sia Lee & Jiho (UnTouchable)

Sia Lee is a modern vampire who receives energy from touching humans. She is neither immortal nor glows in the sunlight; the only difference is that she is more attractive than humans. On the other hand, Jiho is a human who tastes excellent but has mysophobia, which is an extreme or irrational fear of dirt or contamination.

At first, Sia Lee decides to cure the "Fried Chicken's" trauma and mysophobia so she can touch him. As the manhwa continues, however, she falls in love with him and begins to see him as a human being.

Kim Mi-so is an impeccable secretary, and Lee Young-Joon is a narcissist who doesn't want to let her go for the great work she does. Unfortunately for Kim Mi-so, he ends up falling in love with this amazing secretary instead.

This couple's tumultuous relationship is one of the best in manhwa and love comedy, as the character development and growth in both characters are exponential. It also doesn't hurt that they are both adults, which breaks the mold of most popular couples being teenagers in high school.

Gil Oh-Sol & Jang Seon-Kyul (Clean With Passion For Now!!)

Gil Oh-sol has intense mysophobia. His fear is so bad that he created his own cleaning company. On the other hand, Jang Seon-kyul is a woman who couldn't care less about being clean, much less appearing perfect.

What begins as Gil Oh-sol thinking nothing more of her than a dirty and unorganized woman is realizing that being "clean" isn't the most important thing in life. This relationship is wholesome for the way Jang Seon-kyul inspires Gil Oh-sol to conquer his mysophobia.

Eun Dan-Oh & Ha-Ru (July Found By Chance)

Eun Dan-Oh and Ha-ru may only be characters inside a manhwa, but they can love like any other human being. Although Eun Dan-Oh is nothing but an extra and Ha-Ru was simply a character named Number 13, they end up falling in love with each other as recycled characters in another manhwa they were in before the new one.

Throughout the manhwa, the many trials they go through show how strong of a couple they are in the end. The best part of this series is the premise that the characters are extras inside a manhwa. It's a unique plot that makes this series stand out.

Woo Do-Hee & Kim Hae-Kyung (Shall We Have Dinner Tonight?)

After Woo Do-hee and Kim Hae-kyung befriend each other at a restaurant and decide to eat out with each other every week, they become closer slowly but surely. The two have had a history of heartbreak in their past relationships and speak over delicious food together.

Because of how believable this relationship is, there is nothing forced or toxic in it. It is simply two people getting to know each other over food and falling in love. The relationship feels organic and wholesome.
