With Event Leviathan's eponymous villain revealed to be former Manhunter Mark Shaw, fellow Manhunter Kate Spencer will be stepping in to pick up the pieces in a new comic book miniseries by co-creator Marc Andreyko and Renato Guedes.

DC has released its solicitation information for its titles going on sale in May, including the debut issue of Manhunters: The Secret History #1, which follows Kate as she investigates Leviathan's plot, only to uncover the deepest, darkest secrets of the DC Universe.

Created by Andreyko and Jesus Saiz in 2004's Manhunter #1, Kate Spencer is a federal prosecutor who takes on the mantle of Manhunter after being frustrated by villains evading justice. Kate appeared prominently in Event Leviathan, shocked by the revelation that Mark Shaw was the masked villain before vowing to stop him.
