Isekai is a wonderful genre that has given us a hit series like Reincarnated as a Slime and Re: Zero. Isekai has also given us several mediocre anime series and a ton of manga adaptations that make no sense. It seems that every time you check the new releases now, there is some strange manga, about being reincarnated in another world. It also seems like each week; these series get more and more ridiculous in the premise. While the light novel Reincarnated as a Vending Machine proved even weird concepts could be hard-hitting, other emerging isekai proved the opposite. Below are ten manga that proves Isekai is starting to go too far.

10 I Shall Survive Using Potions!

This story is about a girl who is killed by accident and then reincarnated into a world where she is the ultimate potion maker. The ridiculous doesn't stop there though; she also has a box that lets her speak every language in the world and demands to be a teenager again, because what's a manga without a teenage protagnist? She then wanders the world using her advanced potions to make a living while overcoming small roadblocks.

This series is a bit reminiscent of watching peddlers in a video game marketplace.

9 Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for my Retirement

This manga starts out a bit differently as the protagnist can jump between worlds instead of being forcibly reincarnated. The world she can jump into is a medieval setting, so the young woman starts figuring out ways to use modern tools. Her goal is to save up a ton of gold and then peacefully retire.

Luckily the protagnist in this series does seem to not try and upset the balance of the worlds.

8 Loner Life in Another World

This is a manga about a loner named Haruka, who, along with his entire classroom, finds himself in another world. He is forced to pick from a list of already plundered abilities, and all he wants is to be able to take care of himself in this new world. Okami makes the whole manga about using his doggy looks to get out of work.

5 Skeleton Knight in Another World

Most skeletons are the weakest monsters in video games; this story is about a man who is reincarnated as a skeleton. While the reincarnation part of the story is questionable, seeing as the character as re-dead, you do get to see a skeleton being one of the most powerful characters in an RPG setting.

Arc, the protagnist, is completely driven by his want to save elf girls, and the story goes about how you would expect of this premise.

4 My Room is a Dungeon Rest Stop

This is a manga literally about the safe room of a dungeon. The protagnist Suzuki leases a cheap apartment that is magically connected to the dungeon of another world. Yamai Zenjirou from Ideal Sponger's Life, with chips and gaming consoles behind him.
