One of the most exciting things in all comic book history is seeing a crossover featuring some of your favorite series. An even more exciting thing is an unlikely crossover from two series that you'd never imagine would be sharing panels. Imagine the shock on the faces of fans everywhere when Mazinger Z vs Transformers and the Marvel x Attack on Titan crossover was announced.

Crossovers like that are what dreams are made of and got us thinking. "What if more manga and comic book series had crossovers?" That's why we created this list of ten manga-comic crossovers we think would be heavenly.

10 THE QUESTION & LUPIN THE THIRD

Imagine having the greatest gentleman thief on the planet clash wits with the world's greatest master detective. This crossover would be a match made in heaven as both series' main characters amazingly complement each other. It would be tons of fun watching Lupin and his crew try to outsmart The Question while trying to make the heist of the century (once again).

Of course, like a few of times in Lupin history, he'll probably end up in a forced alliance with his new enemy. This is how many crossovers end so it'd be the perfect fit for this kind of crossover.

9 DESERT PUNK & TASKMASTER

While many believe that Desert Punk would be the perfect fit to meet with the popular comic character Deadpool before anyone, we feel he'd be an even better fit to meet up with Taskmaster. A strategic battle between these two would be an absolute spectacle to witness.

These two are both master strategists both close and long-range. Seeing them try to up each other in a desert setting would make for a great crossover mini-series. While Taskmaster seems like he's dealt with it all in the Marvel Universe, Desert Punk would be sure to surprise him with a few tricks he's never seen.

8 LUKE CAGE AND IRON FIST & BAKI THE GRAPPLER

The indestructible man and one of Marvel's greatest hand to hand martial artists meeting fist to fist with some of the most out of this world combatants in manga history. This is a crossover that wouldn't need much story but would promise some amazing action scenes.

Imagine Luke and Danny going in to investigate the underground Maxim Tournament only to run into the crazy cast of Baki the Grappler. These two and their skill-kit honestly seem like the perfect fit for the world of Baki. They both probably still couldn't take on Yujiro though.

7 DOCTOR STRANGE & YU YU HAKUSHO

The spirit detective and his squad would honestly be an amazing co-cast for Doctor Strange. A one-shot special of these guys being on a mission to take out a rogue spirit and running into The Sorcerer Supreme is a story that seems like it could write itself. Honestly, this a crossover that could work even without the guys actually meeting up.

Yusuke and the crew roll up to find whatever spirit they're tasked to take on and end up sucked into some kind of portal after wandering into the Sanctum Sanctorum. Seriously, someone write this!

6 GUYVER & HULK

Okay, we all know that this crossover would have to give us a fight between Sho Fukamachi/Guyver I and Bruce Banner/Hulk and we all know that it would end up with the two teaming up. They're the perfect fit to meet up with each other, both being forced to live a double life due to forces beyond their control and then using these crazy abilities for good.

This one would be an easy write with some crazy mastermind tricking the two into battling and then ending up with a team up to take down the said mastermind. Oh, and the destruction would have to be massive.

5 DEVILMAN & GHOST RIDER

We know for sure that this crossover has been a dream match of comic book and manga fans for years. Two guys basically screwed over by the Devil himself into doing his bidding. These two guys flip these powers on their head and become unlikely heroes, fighting off the forces of Hell in favor of the flawed race of humans on earth.

Watching Johnny Blaze and Akira Fudou team up and using their demonic halves to take on a legion of demons is something we'd have to see animated. We're not sure a simple comic would be able to handle these two.

4 JUSTICE LEAGUE & MY HERO ACADEMIA

You definitely saw this one coming. A Justice LeagueMy Hero Academia one-shot special is another crossover on this list that would write itself and honestly wouldn't need much in the story department. It could even be played straight and treated as a "non-crossover" crossover, meaning writing in the JL as a team that has always existed in the MHA universe.

Having the JLA be the heroes of America while characters like All Might keep Japan's villains in check sounds amazing. We could even have some JL members substitute at U.A. Gonna need a Supes vs Might fight though.

3 SAINT SEIYA & DARKSEID

One of the best things that the Dark God brings in every comic he shows up in is a challenge to the strongest being of any universe he steps foot in. Who other to challenge than some of the only warriors in anime that would have a chance at defeating him. Plus a story of the Saints protecting Earth against Darkseid would be a great and believable one.

A battle between these two forces could go either way and witnessing the Saints fight Darkseid and his army would be sick. The God of Evil versus the protectors of the Goddess of Wisdom and War.

2 TRANSFORMERS & GUNDAM

Yet another dream crossover that has been heavily talked about by fans of both series for years. This is one of those crossovers that could go many different ways but we feel that it'd have to be a self-contained crossover much like the Marvel/DC Amalgam comic book crossover line, where both of the universes are combined into one.

Imagine instead of the Gundam being simply Mobile Suits they are the Transformers. Amuro Ray piloting an Optimus Prime mobile suit and Char piloting a Megatron. Maybe this isn't too far off from reality with the Transformers recently crossing over with the popular manga Mazinger Z.

1 DEATH NOTE & BATMAN

There is no way that this crossover wouldn't be amazing. Batman going in to try to take down the mastermind killer Kira. A three-way battle of wits between L, Light Yagami, and Bruce Wayne is a story with the potential to be the best and most complex on this list.

Two secret identities, three masterminds, and more would have to be put into consideration, making this into the most epic idea for a manga-comic book crossover we have. These characters would be the perfect matches for each other and their worlds match up perfectly as well.
