The highly anticipated launch of the Disney+ streaming service brought with it the premiere of the first live-action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. Now, while fans are still reeling from the episode's big cliffhanger and counting down the minutes until the arrival of the next chapter, series creator Jon Favreau has already gone on to tease Season 2.

On Instagram, Favreau posted a photo from the set of Season 2, revealing the series is back in production. "Greetings from the set of #TheMandalorian season 2," he captioned the photo of the title character's signature helmet.

The next episode of The Mandalorian hits the streaming service Nov. 15. Then, new episodes will be released every Friday until the season finale airs Dec. 27. The only exception comes the week of release for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Rather than releasing Friday, The Mandalorian's penultimate episode will arrive Wednesday, Dec. 18.

Created by Jon Favreau, Star Wars: The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Omid Abtahi, Werner Herzog and Nick Nolte. The first episode is streaming now on Disney+.
