Stern Pinball announced a new line of pinball machines inspired by the Disney+ series Star Wars: The Mandalorian

Three models of pinball machines (Pro, Premium and Limited Edition) are now available from Stern Pinball that celebrate The Mandalorian and the Star Wars universe as a whole. As the official announcement details, the machines transport players "to a galaxy far, far away as they play as the Mandalorian, teaming up with key allies and protecting Grogu, while battling dangerous enemies and forces across their journey."

All models include a custom sculpture of Grogu (better known as Baby Yoda), audio and video from the first two seasons of the show and an exclusive monologue by actor Carl Weather, who plays Greef Karga. They also showcase hand-drawn artwork by Randy Martinez and The Mandalorian's iconic title theme song by Ludwig Göransson. While likely to excite any fan of the show, all these features come at quite the cost: the Pro model retails for $6,199, the Premium model for $7,799 and the Limited Edition for $9,199.

The higher costs for the Premium and Limited Edition models mean there are more features for fans to enjoy. Both models include a "gravity-changing, rotating Encounter upper mini-playfield." This playfield rotates and is packed with obstacles (e.g., six stand-up targets and flashing lights) to give players an extra challenge.

The Limited Edition model alone features Beskar armor-inspired backglass, exclusive artwork on its cabinet and blades, an autographed bottom arch, a numbered plaque and a Certificate of Authenticity. The machine also has more advanced hardware like an upgraded audio system, a shaker motor and anti-reflection pinball playfield glass. There are only 750 limited edition machines available for purchase.

"Star Wars is timeless and our players have enjoyed every pinball machine reimagined by the iconic space saga," Chairman and CEO of Stern Pinball Gary Stern said, explaining why the company decided to create their new machines. "Stern's new pinball machine, inspired by The Mandalorian, continues that tradition with an engaging and exciting story for an entirely new generation of fans around the world. Collaborating with Lucasfilm, we have brought all of the suspense, excitement, and action from the Star Wars galaxy into a one-of-a-kind pinball adventure perfect for any location or home gameroom."

This new line of pinball machines is one of the most recent examples of the merchandising potential of The Mandalorian, particularly Grogu. Many other companies like FUN.com, Hasbro and Farm Rich have all made their own unique products and collectibles inspired by the show.

Stern Pinball's Mandalorian-themed machines are currently available for purchase through the company's website. The first two seasons of the show can be streamed on Disney+. Season 3 is expected to begin filming sometime in late 2021 or early 2022.
